Oh my, I am facing quite a dilemma, indeed. I purchased this beautiful glass brooch fully intending to give it to a friend who absolutely dotes on handcrafted glass jewelry and now that it has arrived, I find I adore it and am not sure she is going to receive this gift. What I may have to do is wear it in her presence so I get to enjoy it myself a little and when she compliments me on it, as I am sure she will, I can surprise her by gifting it to her. Every aspect of this brooch is perfect - the design edgy and yet fluid, the craftsmanship exquisite, the deeply saturated colors visually stunning and arresting, the bit of "sparkle" a joy of a surprise!
